Blue Giraffe Childcare (Droitwich) is committed to providing an excellent quality service for every child and parent delivered in a friendly, caring, safe environment within which all children will feel nurtured and secure.
Our vision is to deliver rich learning experiences for children through play, whilst also building children’s confidence, independence and self esteem in an environment rich in love, learning, fun, and excitement. In summary BIG FUN CHILDCARE!
Our settings provide your child with opportunities to play, explore, learn and experiment and also allow children to take risk, make choices, gain confidence and grow into the individuals we aspire them to be.
We strive for this to be our ethos and ensure its value is placed on every aspect of what we set out to achieve for parents and children within our nursery. We are passionate about childcare and what we do at Blue Giraffe and this is the driving force behind our ethos.
We have traditional values and we seek to establish a clear sense of social, moral and ethical values for our children to help them grow into mature, caring and responsible adults.
Children are made to feel welcome, secure and at home at all times so parents can work confident in the knowledge that their children are cared for in a safe and interesting environment.

Our Team
Our sensitive and knowledgeable staff are trained in how to identify a child's needs and how to best meet these, by engaging with your child and offering appropriate support when required. We offer a personal service to both children and parents and our planning for children's care and education is personal and is led by each child's current stage of development, interests and needs. Our standard of care is maintained to the highest level, and this, accompanied with our flexibility and reliability ensures that both your needs and those of your child are met.
Food & Nutrition
We encourage children to develop a positive attitude to food and healthy lifestyles. This is achieved through adopting a whole setting approach which encompasses children, their families and staff. 'Good health in the early years helps to safeguard health and wellbeing throughout life. It is important that children develop healthy habits when they first learn about food'.
Nutrition
* We provide healthy, balanced and nutritious meals, snacks and drinks
* Foods are from the four main food groups will be offered everyday (e.g. starchy carbohydrates, fruit and vegetables, milk & dairy foods and proteins*)
* Main meals will include foods from the following food groups: starchy carbohydrates, protein, dairy and fruit and vegetables*
* No salt will be added to foods and foods high in salt (eg. gravy granules, stock cubes, ready-made sauces etc....) will be used as little as possible. If these are used these will be the lowest salt variety available.
